The evolution of the beagle as it grows from puppy to an adult sized dog is both fun and challenging. In the beginning, beagle puppies are loud and difficult to contain because they have a lot of pent-up energy. Their bark is high-pitched and sounds more like a howl or shriek. The dog is very dependent in its early life because it has been removed from its mother. Most likely, it will bark and cry at night . It is important though, not to remove him or her from their crate and to teach them the independence. Potty training is the next logical step in the beagle’s life. Beagles are territorial animals and will often grow used to one specific spot in the yard. This is a good thing and should not be changed. Eventually, as your beagle grows older, he or she will become a nice addition to the family — friendly, fun and sometimes just downright lazy, making for a good cuddler on a rainy day.

Ooffoo is an online community for eco-friendly people, run by the people behind the Natural Collection catalogue. It’s a place to hang out, discuss green issues, and find new friends.
