I have always enjoyed cooking. I grew up in a family of Chefs. My dad even owned his own restaurant. His restaurant was known for its corn chowder. People loved it and so much that dad decided to put an article about growing corn on the back of the menus. Many people loved the tips the article offered. Some people even came back to asked for a copy of the menu, because they decided that they would start growing corn. Dad was quite a hit on our town. He even started offering more dishes with the main ingredient being corn. It was not long before my dad changed the name of the restaurant to Chef Corn’s Favorites.

My brother joined the military shortly after he got out of high school and has been a career guy ever since. He’s already served at least four tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He has a pretty unusual specialty in that he deals with tank cleaning systems, but nothing is really completely safe in a war zone. He just got back from his latest deployment and his wife is due to have a baby in just a few months, so the timing couldn’t be more perfect. He’s a great guy and the family is really so proud of what he does and stands for.

I have just moved in with my daughter and her family in order to help out with the kids. However, I don’t really know anyone around here, so I am looking for some good ways to meet people my age. My daughter suggested maybe I should try out some of the senior chat rooms. I never thought of this before, in fact I didn’t even realize such a thing existed. Where can I go to find out more about the different options and how they work? I am relatively good with computers and my daughter has a nice one so that shouldn’t be a problem.
