The big toe joint is an extremely important joint in the body as when we walk, the body moves forward or pivots over the foot when we are walking or running. This joint needs to move freely or that efficient forward movement of the body can be impaired. If the joint does not move then it will create compensations in other parts of the body. These compensations can become painful. Often the pain is distant from the big toe joint and the cause of it goes unrecognised. The most common cause of problems at the big toe joint when walking is a condition called functional hallux limitus.

I am not sure if can remember the name of a movie probably about 20 years old by now, but it was of a computer that operated every aspect of a house. I think that the movie was not exactly uplifting, but it was interesting to see how technology can run everything from your fireplace to your monitoring system. Looking into these days this computer system really does exist. Maybe I can start out small with aspen computer and have them start to monitor a few things in my house and be able to control them remotely and possibly add more later on.

Credit cards were something that were never really explained to me. Banks seemed to rush to me to get me to use their credit cards and at one point I had been authorized over $120,000.00 in credit if I would choose to use it. There was no guide to credit card debt issued with the cards, just an invitation to go into debt. It was obviously easier to carry the plastic than it was to deal in cash and they made it much easier for me to bring home the big ticket items. They provided ready credit but no day to day accountability for how I used it.
