The David Blaine Ash Trick

The David Blaine Ash Trick is the first trick of the street magic revealed here. This is a great trick, however, keep in mind that all magic depends on your ability to perform and entertain the audience more than or equal to your ability to perform a specific trick. This trick is no different, and most of this trick depends on your ability to create a specific atmosphere.
In order to do this trick, you will need a small pad of paper, a pen, an ashtray, a lighter, and a small piece of wax or soap. You ask a spectator to write a name on a piece of paper and then crumble that paper up and place it in the ashtray. The paper is set on fire and you then rub the ashes on your arm which causes the name to mysteriously appear there.
