They Can’t Afford to Come

Some time ago, my dad called me and told me that he had some bad news. I asked him what was going on, and he told me that he and my mom would not be able to come to visit my wife and I. I asked him what the reason was, and he told me that the car had broken down the night before, and since they don’t have breakdown cover, they don’t have any way to pay for it. They can’t afford to come visit us until they can pay for the car to be fixed. I told them that it was fine with me.
