There are regions that have imposed water restrictions on residents, which forces people to stop using water for things that were normally taken for granted like watering gardens and washing vehicles. When a rainwater tank is installed, rainwater can be collected and stored for future use. Even in areas that don’t have such restrictions, saving water and lowering utility bills is a great incentive to install a tank.
