Finding a brand fragrance can be a confusing process, when you are trying to use scent marketing in your business. You want to make sure that you use scents that are both pleasant, but not overwhelming. In order to determine what kind of brand fragrance is best for you, you must first look at your business model. Let’s take two businesses for example:

If you have a clothing store, selling kids clothes, you would have different brand fragrance, then if you have a clothing store selling fine men’s clothing. In a children’s clothing store, you can have fragrances as branding strategies, like cotton candy, fresh linen in the baby section, and chocolate chip cookies. In the men’s clothing store, you can have fragrances like fine men’s colognes, and linens in the under garment section.

Scent Branding Strategies

One of the best reasons to use machine scent for your business, is that scent used as your branding stragegies, is well-known to inspire memories in your customers. Machine scent can bring about intense and positive memories for your customers. When your customers make these positive associations, they feel as if they’ve received something wonderful and personal. Therefore, they continue to shop at your store.

They attribute shopping at your store, to bringing about pleasant memories for them. Distributing machine scent throughout your store, is almost like playing a favorite song for your customers. Even though it is cheap for you, and you have very little to do with the equation, the customer feels subconsciously like they are receiving something that is personal
