Foreclosure Hot Spots Spread to Idaho and Utah

The United Press International reports that Foreclosures fell in five of the top ten hot spot markets for distressed sales during the 3rd quarter, but new foreclosure trouble spots are now in some unlikely Western states, most notably Utah and Idaho, according to RealtyTrac’s third quarter 2009 Metropolitan Foreclosure Market Report. California, Florida and Nevada continued to bring in the majority of foreclosures, more than than any other in the country, the largest year-over-year increases occurred in Boise City-Nampa, Idaho, and 2 Utah markets… Provo-Orem and Salt Lake City.
