My Dad Is Investing in a Factoring Business

My father is always looking for new ways to invest some of his money. Some of his ideas are great and some of them are pretty risky. Before he jumps, he usually asks my opinion, and I appreciate that he takes my advice pretty seriously. I guess my experience in the financial world gives me some credibility. Recently he ran his newest idea by me. He wants to invest in a new factoring business. The company will buy the accounts receivable for small businesses in need of ready cash and then collect the owed debt to make their profit. Dad will offer that start-up money. I think he may have a winner in this investment.
