Proper Ventilation in Fume Hoods

When one of the service repairmen came to do an annual inspection of our equipment he found that there was a significant problem with the ventilation in the duct system. The fume hoods that we had recently had installed were not quite put in right. Luckily we do this annual inspection and since the hoods were just put in they were covered by the company. The job that the people do to install scientific equipment is very specialized and everything needs to be looked and rechecked in a timely basis to make sure that everything and everyone is safe and in proper working order.
