Their Foresight Saved Us
September 11th, 2009
I work in a very small laboratory, where the stations are so close together that there is barely room to walk. When a lab cart comes through, everyone has to move. Because of this, we had to have our lab furniture designed with special drawer pulls that didn’t protrude from the drawers. Otherwise, we might have lab carts or coats getting caught on them, and that would be a disaster just waiting to happen. This is something we didn’t think about when we were first having it built, but luckily the company we employed did. It was one of the many ways that their foresight saved us.
