To Catch A Thief

I’m the manager of a retail store in Danville. We’re a small store with only 5 employees. Everyone had access to the cash register when sales are made throughout the day. Recently I’ve noticed money missing from the register but I didn’t want to falsely accuse anyone. I contacted a few Private Investigators in Danville to see if I could have one come in and pose as a new employee. The one I eventually hired came in a caught the thief but I felt awful when I found out who it was. I never would have guessed in a million years it would have been my best worker.
