I am not dating anyone for the past 5 years. I’m in my 30’s and people were pushing me to find a guy and get married. But hey! I get a charge of being single with no one to think and take care of. Our love story ensues like greased lightning. It was like a fairy tale come true.

After years of not giving myself time to relish, I decided to go on a cruise alone. I took Carnival Cruises from San Diego and I was dumbfounded! I was overwhelmed by the luxury of the ship, providing perfection at every possible turn. The restaurants served a buffet of delights where each meal is a culinary expertise. It makes me feel like a lifelong guest. Then, I met someone at the bar. He was hunky, smart and has full of dreams. He was all I could ever dream of. We were together during the entire trip and just few months ago, we got engaged. I did not find love on board but love has found me. I will look forward to returning to the beautiful ship.

I can say I have achieved so much in my life. I have an excellent career in the advertising field, met so many well known personalities from the industry and politics. I have been working doggedly for the past 20 years of my life. I’m in my early 40’s, single and was never married. Everyone wants me to date a guy. They think being single at 40 is unfortunate but hey it does not mean I am not happy just because I’m single. I realized I need to I should start giving myself self a break from all disquietude. I had this inclination to try cruising since my younger days. My mind was so engrossed on this fancy that even in my deep slumber, I oftentimes had nightmares about it. But after the passage of time, what was once a dream that unlikely may never be, a wish came true. Because just about a week ago, I found myself on a cruise on the Celebrity Century from San Diego. I had the biggest surprise of my life for while on board, I discovered the ships’ interiors remarkably beautiful- its designs were magnificent! A wide array of world-class amenities were available for the taking. There was an Olympic-sized pool at the upper deck, a gymnasium that had a complete set of equipments. That trip truly provided me memories that will last a lifetime. Honestly, I had a wonderful journey!

I felt I could no longer withstand her never ending bickering. She was like a broken record- always reprimanding me of my past escapades. Such gesture ran contrary to one of the secrets of a happy relationship- bury the mistakes of the past into oblivion! Fed up and bored with her seeming childish behavior, I left her for good and went to take the Istanbul Christmas Cruise. Once on board, I took a brief tour on the ship. Along the way, I found the interiors remarkably beautiful- the designs were truly spell-bounding! There was a line of restaurants that catered the various food tastes of the guests. Attendants were also strategically in placed to ensure prompt service. At last, I was able to do the things I really wanted. I ate delicious foods, went to the bar to drink, and went to disco until the wee hours of the night. For all the things I did on the ship, I felt like a new man- with nobody to scold me. Oh my, it was what I really needed most- a time all by myself, away from her shadows. I absolutely loved the trip. So, for those who feel shackled on a relationship, I recommend you- take this cruise. You will be enchanted on it….
