Blake inverted
October 6th, 2009
There are many types of foot orthotics that podiatrists and other clinicians can use to treat biomechanical foot dysfunction. There are the custom made foot orthotics and the prefabricated foot orthotics. Within each type there are so many variations and prescription variables. For the custom made devices the choice is quite substantial. For a basic device, there is the Blake inverted, the Kirby medial skive, the DC wedge, the MASS device, the standard Root style device and the MOSI. Within each of these types of custom made devices there are many more variations that can be used to achieve the goals that the treating clinician is aiming for.
