Exercise to Build Core Muscles – Leg Abduction

The most important muscles to exercise to achieve a six pack are the core muscles. Bodybuilding over 50 and strengthening the core is essential for maintaining a healthy pain-free back throughout the lifetime. Perform this exercise at least 3 times a week. Lie down on your side on a mat. Bend the knee of the lower leg and bring it forward. Stretch out the lower arm on the floor to support your trunk. Now lift the upper leg up and slowly move it behind the body and back. Let your trunk remain firm. Engage your core and buttock muscles during this exercise. Repeat 10 times on each side.
