Add Cardinal Tetra for a Colorful Tank

February 23rd, 2010

Choosing the right fish for an aquarium is critical.  They should be easy to take care of, add interest, and be able to exist well with other fish.  An excellent choice would be the cardinal tetra.  These popular little fish are brightly colored, with a red stripe running the length of their body.  They will readily accept many types of food but look their best on a diet of frozen, live, and flake food.  Because of their tiny size, they should live with other small fish.  As long as the tank lighting is subdued and the water condition is good, the friendly fish will be happy and healthy.
