Controversy Of Tobacco Power Heads Earning Money On The Web From Cigarette Cartons

On the other hand, tobacco has been made legal by the government. Since it is legal to produce tobacco, the tobacco companies have every right to produce and sell cigarettes. This also means that they have a right to have control as to how their products are marketed. Every business has those rights. Placing pictures of diseased organs would clearly be a huge hit to their business. Not to mention, it would be out of their control which violates their rights as a business.
I personally believe that it is wrong that tobacco companies are able to place certain carcinogenic chemicals on the tobacco. These carcinogenic additives are put in there in to further increase profits by increasing addiction. I do not feel that it is ethical to place the pictures on every cartoon of cigarettes. That is violating these companies rights. However, I think that there needs to be stronger regulation on the ingredients that are allowed to be in cigarettes for the purpose of user addiction. Addiction is a serious issue for many people. Therefore, I think adding chemicals to cigarettes for that purpose is unethical.
