Attractions of Tambor and Montezuma Costa Rica
February 23rd, 2010
Nicoya Peninsula which is located on the north west side of Costa Rica and partly separated from the mainland by the Gulf of Nicoya is often regarded as a world of its own set apart from the rest of the country. I had the privilege of visiting Nicoya last spring and I have got to say that the natural landscapes here are simply amazing. Two of Nicoya’s most popular towns among tourists are Montezuma and Tambor located on the edge of the peninsular. Montezuma Costa Rica is fantastic as it offers all kinds of attractions such as pristine beaches, wildlife reserves, wild parties that last through the night and who can forget the succulent European cuisines especially Italian due to the influence of the large European community here. Tambor on the other hand offers visitors with a chance to just unwind and relax on the beautiful shorelines. The nightlife here is not as happening as Montezuma’s and that is what makes it attractive to tourists who want some peace and quiet.
