Cruising and Perusing the Mediterranean: Planes, Trains and Cruises

Growing up in American, the Mediterranean always fascinated me as a child. It seemed like this lovely exotic place rich with history and culture. Fast forward 20 years and while it seems less exotic now, it definitely continues to hold its appeal. This summer I’m taking a month –long hiatus to explore this brilliant region. I’m going to fly from London to Nice then will stay in the south of France for awhile. I’m planning on taking a few cruises out to the Mediterranean islands and also want to cover a fair bit of ground in Italy before heading to Croatia. It’s going to go by quickly, but no doubt it will be the trip of a lifetime.
